The 1027 Electrified Hinge is a 14 inch power-transfer hinge designed to route low-voltage wiring through the hinge side of a door opening while maintaining smooth, dependable door operation. Its extended profile helps evenly distribute stress along the full height of the door, supporting stable performance in access-control, security, and electrified opening applications. Built with 26-gauge wiring, the 1027 includes a standard six-wire configuration with an optional eight-wire version for additional hardware requirements. The tamper-resistant, weather-resistant design can be removed without re-hanging the door, helping simplify service and maintenance. Available in clear anodized aluminum or dark bronze anodized aluminum finishes.
